I know it is as far as I'm concerned. I understand to a point they are there for safety reasons, at the same time though If you are going to race there is that certain possibility that something bad is going to happen. Racing in general is dangerous, its just part of the sport.
I'm sure everyone has an opinion on this, but to me I avoid the modern F1 cars, to me there just ugly as hell, and on a separate note, they don't sound that great either.
There are plenty of choices, especially with AC, so in a way were blessed with that.
At the same time over the pond in the US we have the Indycar series, that don't have halos, and actually still sound like a proper racecar. BTW I still watch F1, because I love motorsports in general.
So are you influenced at all by the Halo, or do you just accept it, and move on ?
