Moving tracks from Add-on to Extras

Is there any way to change the category of a track that is listed under the Add-on category to Extras? I've tried looking at tracks that by default sit under Extras then tried to use those categories for Add-on category tracks but it does not work. It seems there is more to it than simply changing the track category in the gdb file.

Any way then to do this?

It is the category in the GDB. I think it may be that there is more than one GDB for your track.

Yes, the tracks have two gdb's for two variations but for some reason when I change the "add-on" category to the category of the second variation (which ARE in "Extras") it still does not work.
