Questions about custom wheels (Thrustmaster)

I'm considering getting a custom wheel like this https://www.speedmaxracing.it/it/steering-wheel-f1/111-smr-fto.html or this http://www.f1simgames.com/simr-f1-custom-wheel-mod/ and wanted to know if anyone has gotten anything from either of these sites (I'm hoping for people in the states so they can give me price ranges and stuff) or if there are other ones (like fanatec wheels or something) that are basically plug and play (it needs to mount to my T300 base and require NO or VERY MINIMAL assembly on my part) and, as usual, would like to keep the cost down (hence the cheapest speedmax wheel).

Can not help you unfortunately with what you ask about but if you are not aware then they also make their own (Trustmaster)

I also cannot be of direct help,
but want to contribute some thoughts.

I myself have three wheels I use with my T300,
the OEM Ferrari (something/something) alcantara which 300 mm and considering wheight in the middle,

a thrustmaster F1as mentioned above which is the smallest and lightest (ca 270mm)
and has enough buttons and rotary encoders, at least for me.

and a 350mm dished OMP (fake) with 3d printed adapter which is the heaviest.

On the only moderately forcefull T300 the lightest and smallest wheels deliver the best Force Feed Back.

I really like the look of the OMP, but every car i drive with it feels rather dull.
So even when driving H Shifter i choose the Ferrari Alcantara wheel because it gives better FFB.

My advice is when ordering a costum wheel keep an eye on the weight.
I think the higher price for carbon fiber plates is whell spend.

For all the buttons and decoders on the F1 wheel to work you have to drive on PC, on my PS4 i can
only use PS4 button allocation!!

I guess it would be the same with custom wheels.

If you drive on PC it would be better to use USB connection to the PC, than you can bind your button to the funktions you want in the racing game.

In Asseto corsa PC there are much more possibilitiesfor that than in AC for PS4.

MFG Carsten

Edith:

Had a quick look and from what I´m guessing ( because I speak zero Italian)
this thing shoold fit the criteria i mentioned above as long as you are on PC.

did you ever get a wheel from that site. I'm currently looking for a new rim too.
