After 13 straight races being won by a rookie James Chant eventually managed to get his Red Bull Racing car to cross the line before anyone else could. It's his third win of the season and it gives him some important points in his championship battle.

Alexander MacDonald finished 2nd in the HRT car and climbed one spot in the standings to 4th. Bradley Vanian finished 3rd and Hiroshi Awazu finished 4th, so in order for Vanian not to win the championship Awazu will have to score maximum points and he can win by 2 points, if Vanian fails to finish the last 3 races.

Jean-Francois Godin got only his second top 5 this season by finishing 5th. Omer Said in the Sauber finished 6th and Godin's Ferrari teammate Peter Duivelaar finished 7th. Together thet scored a total of 16 points which is a tied season best for Ferrari who is still last in the constructors championship.

Thomas Hackel finished 8th for the first time this season, Aidan Keranen finished 9th for the first time this season and Chris Jenkins finished 10th. Keranen climbed to 7th in the standings ahead if Erik Tveit who failed to finish again.

The last driver to finish was David Carter in 11th. He won the season opening race but now he's not making any good performances.

What's HOT!
End of season battles - We are in for some realy tight battles at the end of the season.

What's NOT!
Mercedes - Have the lowest point avarage of any team in the last 5 races.

Next we are going to Circuit of the Americas in the United States for the home Grand Prix of Danny Asbury.
