Grand Prix Championship Scoring System

The RDGPC will be sporting a new scoring system on RaceDepartment. The scoring system is as it follows:

Additional Points:

Pole Position:
2 Points
Fastest Lap: 2 Points
Led a Lap: 1 Point
Led most Laps: 1 Point (addition to the leading a lap point)

Drivers not completing 90% of the race distance will score no points - except bonus points.

The point system as adopted the support series point system due to the singular grid being run. Bonus points has been added. The required finishing distance has been amended.

Team Sign-up procedure: All drivers can register as a single independent driver, but teams that sign up can have a maximum of 4 drivers per team. Mid season team changes are not allowed starting from Pre-Season.

Team sign-ups have been amended to match the updated rules of allowing 4 drivers per team.

All information regarding the league will be provided to drivers by the end of this week. Even though we are running one grid, we will still be using the Qualifier, so YOU MUST ATTEND THE QUALIFIER EVENT at Spielberg.

We have two more open positions at Banzaaaiii TCC, according to the recent update in the rules. Applications are welcome!

There's an open seat at Banzaaaiii TCC. Our offer includes:
- a (kinda) consistent teammate with a decent pace
- guaranteed mayhem in the commentator booth, screaming your team's name
- free Banzaaaiii TCC livery :)

Private Message To All Drivers Will Be Sent Tonight

Qualifying Event (September 30th)

Welcome to the RDGPC Season 6. Due to the lack of sign ups we will only be running one grid. This means that not everyone will get to race. We have opened the grid up to allow 30 cars to run, however.

The qualifying event will be run at the same date/time as originally stated (SEP30). All drivers must place at least one valid lap time in (except the drivers automatically qualified from Season 5).
30 Cars will qualify for the RDGPC with the remaining 5 drivers being reserve drivers in case of an absence. If a driver does not put in a valid lap time during the qualifying session, they will be removed from the sign up list.

Server Information
This will be supplied in the private message tonight.

2 cars still sitting idle in the pitlane for a couple of drivers to join @Theo van den Brink and his new team mate @Joeks at Tech 3 Racing.

Set ups will be shared between team mates. A free Tech 3 Livery will be provided with your name and number on the car.

You do not have to be fast, consistent or good! We accept anyone (hey, we must be the sauber f3 team ;))

Let's go out there and do the best we can :D

We'll be hosting our regular Wednesday F3 race, this week at Buenos Aires.

If anyone wants a chance to practice under race conditions with some of the drivers signed up for the league, ask questions or just get some laps under their belts with the car or AMS then feel free to join us by signing up HERE.

NOTE: There is zero obligation to join if you do not wish to do so as our Club events operate seperately from the League.

Multiple People have mentioned about different things that have come up so they cannot attend the session. My final answer:

This date has been available since the start of September and the time was announced two weeks ago.

If you do not attend you will be removed from the league.

The times are not being adjusted and no driver is getting "special treatment" as this is unfair to everyone else.

I am sorry if this upsets anyone, but you have had this information long enough.
