Like the Silverstone and Sebring events, but unlike the Road America event, the official qualifying session will be held on a separate day (see thread title). No qualifying session will be held on race day!

The qualifying session's only purpose is to sort the grid order for the race event. No points can be earned.

TIME TABLE
Free Practise: 18:00 GMT (60 minutes)
GT Qualifying: 19:00 GMT (25 minutes + 5 minutes inlaps)
LMP Qualifying: 19:30 GMT (25 minutes + 5 minutes inlaps)

SESSION START
GT cars are allowed to immediately hit the track after the light turns green in the qualifying session. LMP cars are allowed to wait at the green light after the GT session end has been announced. They cannot enter the track untill the start of LMP qualifying has been announced.

SESSION END
After 25 minutes the league or server admin will sign the end of the session for the qualifying classes. Every driver is allowed to complete his current lap. Any driver that crosses start/finish after this sign is expected to enter the pit immediately or at the end of the lap. No new hotlaps may be started on the pain of starting at the end of the line.

NOTE ON TRACK LIMITS
As always the rules or RaceDepartment dictate that at least the two left or the two right wheels have to stay within the lines that mark the track limits. We understand this is difficult to maintain in the last of the Ford chicanes, especially for GT cars, but we wish to stress that cars hovering four wheels over the anti-cuts will find themselves facing penalties. For the qualification this means the car will lose all it's qualifying lap times. They will start from the back of the grid of their class.

It is important that as many teams as possible participate in this test event. It is the only way to properly test the server's configuration and capability for this event. Absentees will be mocked! :D

QUALIFICATION
GT cars are allowed to immediately hit the track after the light turns green in the qualifying session. LMP cars are allowed to wait at the green light after the GT session end has been announced. They cannot enter the track untill the start of LMP qualifying has been announced.

After 20 minutes the league or server admin will announce the end of the session for the qualifying classes. Every driver is allowed to complete his current lap. Any driver that crosses start/finish after this announcement is expected to enter the pit immediately or at the end of the lap. No new hotlaps may be started on the pain of starting at the end of the line.

NOTES
All sessions have a reduced length to properly fit them in a weekday evening. Compromises have been made to make the event suitable for both East and West European countries. We are aware that these event times are hard to meet for American entries. They will be excused for their absence and we apologise for not being able to implement them into this event properly.

I'll need to apology's to Alex Sturm for giving him the scare of his life in Round 218 at Thunder Valley.

I Spun of and was to eager to get back on track. The car spun again at the moment that It hit the tarmac. Alex came with hi speed true Canada Corner and almost run into me but could avoid that. With evasive steering he saved the day for both of our teams. Thanks for that move Alex and apology's once again.
