Still cant decide whether to stick with the mk2 escort or go up to the RS fiesta in 4wd+. Just ran the "special event" on Dirt Rally's online events and until I messed up the last stage was able to sit 2-10 seconds off 1st at each stage. Not sure what is best to do

I feel your pain. I can't decide between the BMW M3 and Focus 07. I enjoy both, but for different reasons. The clincher may be the fact that I'm more likely to get to the end of a rally in the Focus.

I just finished reading it. So I'd need to beat 9 people as it stands to score something in the 2WD+ class. It's a tall order but you never know!

Reading the magazine hasn't helped matters! I know that in other games/sims I'm faster than some guys mentioned as potential winners/podium finishers in their classes. Just not up to speed on DR yet I guess. Think I will stick with 2wd for now and put up with the sequential option wrecking the gearbox!

100% agree. A car you like to drive will keep you in a series long after hopes of a championship have faded. At least for me

Just read the latest edition of the mag, I gotta say you guys are knocking out of the park with this series. Seriously.

I am glad that Magnar and Roy are in my class. Having raced with and against them for years, having my times completely obliterated by them will be familiar territory!

yep, and monte is notorious for just touching a wall lightly and then rolling over it. dunno how many out of the blue DNFs I had here so far. New strategy: slouching towards Turini.
