A new update for quirky driving game 'My Summer Car' has been released, adding plenty of new stuff to the title.
Released just yesterday to Steam, the new update for My Summer Car brings with it some further improvements to a title that is very steadily gaining momentum under the Steam Early Access scheme. Now adding a few interesting features and alterations to the standard game, where else in sim racing / driving marketplace do you see lines on a changelog like these - "Prevented p***ing while driving a vehicle" - "Added smoking" and "Fish can be now grilled in fire and eaten, unprepared fish goes rotten". Awesome. Just awesome.

- Fixed issue with previous jail data not resetting properly when taking a new game
- Added another amis car to race around Peräjärvi roads
- Made amis cars speeds faster at highway
- Fixed fuel tank's fuel line nut being accessible with ratchet
- Fixed money owner from spawning at certain locations
- Changed the way how chasing police cars tailgate the player
- Fish can be now grilled in fire and eaten, unprepared fish goes rotten
- Added shower, sauna does not clean you any more but swimming does

- Changed system how hand usage is checked to avoid visual mutation glitches

- Added symptom for badly worn Crankshaft, engine shakes a lot and power is lost
- Added symptom for badly worn Head gasket, engine will spit out some steam and lose coolant
- Infamous Stuck In Kitchen glitch should be fixed now
- Shortened the refuelling distance from the pumps

About The Game
My Summer Car is the ultimate car owning, building, fixing, tuning, maintenance AND permadeath life survival simulator. You start the game with hundreds of loose parts and assemble both car and engine. Not only you need to maintain your car, but yourself as well. Sausages, beer and sleeping will do just fine.
If everything goes well, you have a working car which you can use for various 1990's Finnish countryside summer activities. Basically doing stupid things under influence of alcohol. After you have gathered extra money from various random jobs, you can start to tune and upgrade the car with parts ordered via snail mail. You can turn the car into a obnoxious bass-boom disco machine.... or into a rally car to participate rally competitions... or just fix it into perfect factory condition. Of course car also needs to pass the inspection or you might get into trouble with police.
Not only you have access to one car, but also several other cars and vehicles which you can use. (Mostly useful to get groceries and for towing the project car from some ditch, again).
Warning, this game is not for fainted heart. Severe car fever is required to play this properly due to it's autistic approach on car building.
