shaders? are they essential

i'm new to racer and i'm interested in putting a few of my mods from my other game format, to racer..but i need to know do i need shaders?

Indeed... if it's "crash happy".. then there's a reason. Care to give us a clue? lol

no idea, it crashed on first time use..if i knew i'd tell ya...i've got an up 2date computer so it's not mme...i'm using vista..i saw on the offical website..that this game really doesnt like vista..and neither do i, but it's all i have so i have to suffer with it (bring back 98 yeah yeah lol)

i got it to work, but it crashed on exit, not real sure what to make of it...

Well it's a WIP, always remember that. It hasn't version 1 yet. I run it perfectly without crashing on Linux with Wine, so I have lots of respect for it and it's creators
