Using fans on sim rigs

Im just wondering how you can use fans or air blowers with sim rigs.
So it simulates the wind by the speed of the car.

How to setup them up ?
What software is used ?

I have seen videos on youtube
and would like to set it up on my rig.

But the thing is.. in almost all racing cars you don´t feel the wind directly.

I want to give this a go.
I have all the parts sourced now.

I normally race open wheelers
And most gt car and air ducts fitted in the dash boards to keep the drivers cool which i mainly want because i get very warm when racing for long periods in this summer heat

Brian there was the hope of the Petal VR fan but unfortunately it failed to reach its Kickstarter goal. I'm not sure where they are right now or if they are gone like the Dodo.
