Please can you? I want to test tome collisions for some FSR tracks. I think it's safer to update anyway, since a few people might not read this notice and then will have issues again downgrading on Sunday anyway.

It's much faster to upgrade a build than to downgrade.

Thank you for your consideration.

Here is a solution for you:

You could do a lite build 798 in a different folder. For example rFactor 3. :p
Install only the packages needed directly from your other installation.
(Don't forget to copie the controller, plr files, etc)

So you can go both ways. :) now and in the future. ;)

Or we could just update the server. ;)

IMPORTANT-NOTICE.jpg

BUILD 860 has been released !!!

Do not update your rF2 until we have updated our servers.
This is probably not going to happen before the race. :coffee:
OOps
I already did.
BTW is anyone else slower since the update? I lost appr 1.7 sec.

Or we could just update the server. ;)

If it was as simple as at home. Shure!!!
But 1 server update already failed. :(

The server is fully tested in build 798.
Most of you made your setups in build 798.
An up-date with no server tests before the race could end in .

It's best for all to do the race in this build.

If there is going to be another update and you are signed up for a race, here or another community, check the host build before doing an update. It could cost you championship points... :barefoot:

GL & HF tomorrow

Are we allowed not to make that race with any personal skin ? I have a .dds plugin issue with CS6, so I can't modify my number and all of that...
Nicolas,
We encourage skins but they are not compulsory.
So you are fine to do in standard skin.
If I get time I might be able to add your numbers to a car for you.

Build 798 link
The above one did not work for me but I had one in my downloads folder so in case you need it here it is.

Use the install wizard but make a different location as suggested by Gijs (i used R Factor 3)
Copy across your player file
Copy the COTA track, Car and RFMod from packages to your new packages folder.
Use the mod manager on the launcher to install them.
You are ready to play.
It must be simple as I managed it first go!

BTW I reckon its 2 sec faster in 798.

Yeah im screwed guys, I got my dad to do a windows restore last night so I could race today, just got in 30 minutes ago and it just keeps saying connection failed. Turns out I forgot to tell him to go pre-update I guess.

Can we get the server updated for next weekends race as this has boned me hard!

Not been following this post and updated to new build so can't join, no time to back date :(

Would I be able to do some laps, low fuel and high fuel and send you a video of them or something along those lines.
