I'm quite upset that I will not able to try this yet; as I am exercising to participate an official tournament in my country (and even I have to stuck with default setups).
Yeah even there is an uninstall option I can't risk any suspicious residuals of the mod for now.

Hey guys. I'm constantly getting error below. it is about 10 minute frequency and very annoying need to force WRC 8 shutdown. Does anybody else getting this error? (amd 5700xt btw)

Fail to read texture data from the file "DATA:/GRAPH/TEXTURES/SKY/ANIMATED/NOON/NO_CLEAR_A/NO_CLEAR_A_08.PTX"

AgentHeX 0007 updated WRC 8 Mods with a new update entry:

Big update, installer, graphics, physics, many new mods and bug fixes

Known bugs: cars behave odd at the start line. It's a side effect of modding suspension, simply skip the stage intro.

Can be installed directly over previous versions, but I would recommend that you start with a clean game.
Supports game version 1.5.1, 1.6.3 and 1.6.4


Why have I called it drivers edition?

Well, now instead of playing the game and hating some of the developers over the top "lets make everything blindingly bright and shiny like a mirror, even though it makes everything flicker and be nearly unplayable" you can now play the game and not even notice the many improvements that I have made, you can simply enjoy the amazing stages and views and concentrate completely on driving like you stole it.

As always, feedback, suggestions, bug reports are always welcome.

Someone just leave a 1 star review saying physics menu does not work, anyone else seeing this?

The new way of doing it is there are 2 parts to the installer, with shortcuts put on the desktop and also boxes at the end of the installers to jump to different things. There is 1 installer for graphics mods and one for physics, this is so you don't have to keep installing graphics mods over and over each time you try out new physics.

Maybe they did not read the on screen instructions or see the desktop shortcuts?

I have never seen this error before, is it since you updated to game v1.6.3? is it a modded installation?

I have been playing the latest game update all week and not had any problems.

I'm unable to install v10. I get the following message:

"This Mod installer is for game v1.5.1 & 1.6.3 only

To avoid damaging the game installation the setup will exit."

I did not get this message when installing v9.

Admittedly, the currently installed WRC 8 version on my PC is v1.6.4, the latest available release. (Clean install, verified by the Epic Games Launcher.)

Do I really have to downgrade to v1.6.3 to install v10? If so, how do I downgrade to an older version?

I built safeguards into the installer to stop it being installed on incompatible versions of the game.

I made a typo, its for v1.5.1 and 1.6.4, not 1.6.3

I think maybe you are stuck somehow on 1.6.3, 1.6.4 working fine here.

Go into game dir, delete wrc8.exe, in epic launcher verify files, it will download the latest version of the exe

I will upload a new version of the installer with 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 checks

Now, It is full clean verified 1.6.4 version. Just wondered does anybody had this issue.
