Teasing is nearly over! In just a few days the Intercontinental GT Pack DLC will release and bring us 4 amazing circuits from all over the world.

Kunos Simulazioni has been teasing us over and over again with all screenshots from the 4 tracks they are bringing to Assetto Corsa Competizione. Teasing us with Kyalami, Bathurst, twice with Suzuka and twice with Laguna Seca, they have now finally announced the release date of Februari 4th. Just a few more days to wait...

If you really can't wait to see the new tracks, Kunos have added to the art of teasing for you. They released an onboard with Aristotelis Vasilakos, their very own head of Car physics, around the track of Bathurst! You certainly don't want to miss that as he gives some great tips on how to do Bathurst in the GT3 cars.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is available now on PC. Intercontinental GT Pack release date is set for February 4th, a price is yet unknown.

I've had a look through the changelog file:

GAMEPLAY:
- Reviewed formation lap and start triggers.

Interested to see what exactly changed. Anybody already tested it?

UI/HUD:
- Fixed MFD pitstop validity with pit window rules to be green already while on the track.
Pitstop is now shown valid in the MFD before entering pitlane when all conditions are met.
- Added engine map setting display to the clutch bar in the gear widget.
- MFD pit strategy now shows both fuel to add and total fuel calculation.
- HUD and real-time widget now use official position from race start to the first split to show more reliable positions at the start and less flickering.

Very welcome changes!

MULTIPLAYER:
- All tracks in base content now have 50 slots for private MP.
- Player car is now locked until green flag + 20 seconds when teleported from the grid or formation lap.

50 slots?! Locked player car should hopefully resolve MP start chaos. :D

I'll be rushing home tonight!

They have changed the damn start procedure so it has like a green bar type thing to stay in so no cheating... Caught out half the field at bathurst in the server just now and they all got drive throughs..man just had a great race was sat in 2nd till I totalled the car last lap on the mountain... Man this sim is the best out there (and this is coming from an AC hater)
