Tifosi celebrate Brugman
The Ferrari driver won the Italian GP, taking the championship lead from Kederer, who retired as well as the other two competitors Goddard and Engberink. Lintner got a strong 2nd place, Laad completed the podium in 3rd.
Kederer lost the lead at the start, dropping all the way down to 5th in the first few laps. Hunsley was sent to the back of the field after a chain reaction caused by Lintner. Brugman followed in 2nd for a few laps, before being passed by Engberink. Further down the field the McLarens were flying, both being in the top 15 by lap 6. Black marked the first retirement, crashing out in Lesmo 1. Engberink followed soon after, right after having passed Brugman he made a mistake ending his race as well. Diehl also crashed out, Goddard retired with a puncture shortly before the first stops. Keranen retired as well, his engine blew up while driving in 9th place.
Brugman took the lead ahead of Kederer, both being on a one stopper. Same for the guys in 3rd to 5th, Lintner, Buurlage and Noack. Utzer was in 7th, a small mistake in his outlap cost him a position to teammate Laad. Around the halfway point the one stoppers got ready to pit, but Kederer didn't make it that far. His gearbox failed right after having taken the lead when Brugman pitted. It was a Williams 1-2 now with Laad leading Utzer by 8 seconds. However both had to pit again, and Brugman was right at Utzer's back.
The tifosi were cheering when the Williams' pitted and Brugman took the lead, some comfortable 8 seconds ahead of Lintner. Laad and Utzer followed in 3rd and 4th with gaps of 20 and 32 seconds respectively. Martins was running in 5th, Buurlage held the final point for 6th. With 5 laps to go Buurlage's Ferrari engine blew up, handing 6th to Noack. The Aussie couldn't hold on to it though, and got passed by Sigoulakis with 3 laps to go.

FIA Press Conference
@Donaldinho105: How does it feel, just having taken the win and championship lead, being celebrated by the tifosi?
@Márk Lintner: A strong result, probably much needed in regards to contract talks?
@Jimlaad43: Will we still see you in the Williams next season?

Market is open!

And there goes my lead :/. Never had more wins than this season, but given the recent run I doubt I'll win it.

Anyway, back to bed now
