What a busy track Zolder was last night. As
@Ross Garland has already mentioned, some of the driving was a bit fruity. Race 1, great start, made 5 places in the first lap, rear ended on the second, all the way back to last.
Race 2, another good start, albeit from way back down the pack but the suspect driving aided my progress to a top 10 finish.
Some great lap times guys, awesome!
Apologies to
@Jopamir, not only did I clog up a chicane for you but while waiting for you to pass, clipped grass and tried taking you out again with a side swipe.
Really wish I could bin this habit I have of wandering to the right when mirror watching,
costing me far too many incidents. I'm trying (last night first time) to drive with an overly reduced steering lock, as I have no rotation in my right shoulder and boy does it make the bloody thing twitchy, so if I was tacking along the straights, it was by no means a defensive tactic, more a suicidal choice. Pleasure as always gents, nice to see so many new guy's, more the merrier.
Might be an idea to add the Touring Classics in the mix, save being a Beemer cup race, spent most the night racing a TicTac or two or three! The incoming update of these little gems is gonna be interesting, really hard to pinpoint where they can be improved upon.
Then again, have every faith in
@Alex Hodgkinson & team to pull something out of the bag, be even nicer that whilst rummaging in said bag they pulled out a Ford Sierra Cosworth and a couple other combatants to bolster the grid. If that is out of the question then at least up the livery count, exciting racing, boring viewing!
