I know this maybe a silly question guys ,
can someone please help us find some pictures of the drivers in this 2004 season / so I can see the helmets please , with the details , if possible I want to add the cables to it too

Something like this will do , ill crack on with the helmet details and add the cable mounts to the side of my seat .

Perspective all wrong , not a perfect side view , mainly placement of the cables and the details I was requiring more than anything , Ill crack on with it and test it ingame probably 2020 lol ,
lets see how things go , simply only concern I have is performance , kunos maximize everything nicely , so adding even 20-30% more to a driver , might not sound a lot but may impact performance quite severely just dont know , we are proceeding forwards anyways with this

I am having fun too creating us a custom driver for the season , its time consuming to say the least but fun all the same

Like I said its possible but its too late now to take it further , this is about 20% work if that ,
ill try and do the rest tomorrow and get it finished

This should be fine in total I have 5 cables I want to add more details , curly stuff ect but the one on the wheel is quite high , dont want to end up with any issues , like I say its better than nothing

I made the cables slightly bigger and tweeked the Uv , ill try and make some kind of test file but there that many settings its crazy so bare with me hopefully it will import if not wasted tests lets see

anyways its early wip but it works as you can see

Well will do for now ..

this will make for nice sharp detail, being modelled rather then texture, however - it will also make possibly aliasing issues and the shadow ( unless you turn shadowing off)
is it worth it ? what are your reasons to model this rather then texture?

How does it work with the enduro lights, will they be a S1 version?

They'll simply dissapear and let the see-through covers show when turning the lights on. Kind of like how the flip up headlights work, but without a visible animation.

Having them controlled by a skin map would cause visual problems (bleed through) if lights were on and the covers skinned (as existing)?
