The only thing holding this otherwise excellent mod back from 5 stars are the unrealistically pointy mountains in the background. The sagebrush in the distance pops in along the straight, but perhaps that also has a fix in the CSP settings. Fix these bits, and the immersion will be perfected.

Very nice track, I love the artistic style of billboards, the variety of cameras and the fast flow layout. The atmosphere is very special and it reminds me of Willow Springs.

Better and better. The layout is deceptively simple, but some of the decreasing-radius turns are really tricky. The faster the car, the more commitment (read: bravery) counts. The fastest ride I've found so far: the Jordan 191.

I'm loving this track - fast and fuious, great for hairy monsters like the Porsche 935, 936 and 962. My go-to track for testing flat-out high-speed twisties. But wtf is that abandoned concrete hotel near the S/F? I've only see structures like that on Anguilla!

That's supposed to be unfinished VIP paddock-kind-of-building. With a tower for richest spectators or race directors.

Loving the new darker textures, makes the track more useable in high sun angles now too. Thanks! There's a flickering glitch on one of the mountain ranges which was in the previous build. I'll post a pic in the support thread.

I've been thinking about making tracks myself, which program did you use to make this track?

3DS MAX 2016 and Photoshop. I don't want to discourage you but 3D modeling is not something you can learn in a month. I've been doing it since 2007 and still need to learn a lot.

What an awesome track, eg01st. And I especially liked how you did the drone like Heli-Cam Replay. A job well done, especially considering your not even finished with it yet. Thank you for video, it gives me the motivation to finish the mod. I was about to work on my other track, but that is too much work to finish soon. So expect 1.0 version of Spanish Trail soon.

BTW, I did a few laps with Lotus 49, and it was 1:55.66, like you said it would be without major mistakes.

Really enjoy this desert track and fun racing with the AI and using my VR headset. Tried several different GT style cars so far and all drove great on the track. Not that hard a track to drive/race. The moving spectator replay cameras are cool to watch, very nice.
