It looks like support for rFactor 2 was also stopped when Le Mans Ultimate hit the virtual shelves. Heading into 2024, this leaves the BTCC without any official sim racing title to attach itself to.
However, the beauty of sim racing is that there is a vibrant modding community behind most of the major titles, Assetto Corsa being the standout example. This short article will cover some of the main free ways to get behind the wheel of a BTCC car.

If classic racing is more your style, there are plenty of super touring options from the golden era of the BTCC, the 1990s. From early Vauxhall Cavaliers to the iconic Nissan Primera and Volvo S40, there is something for everyone. Our review of Thruxton circuit from the late 90s is a great place to start!
