I may have to drop out, been feeling worse as each day goes by this week, the boss (Mrs P) took me for a covid test this pm and if I feel any worse tomorrow I won't be getting out of bed never mind wrestling a virtual car around Silverstone....

I don't really get how this is "historic" silverstone - the historic layout didn't go down to that fiddly hairpin.

Also, the corner at vale is bloody difficult in these cars with the blind entry

It uses the old pitlane and a couple of old corners, but yeah, it's not really "historic" in the true sense of the word.

In my first few practice sessions I was really struggling with the tight turn at 'the loop'...I later realized I had somehow changed wheel presets, which left me with a steering rack ratio of about 10 turns lock-to-lock. Once fixed it made the tight corner so much easier, although it then made every other corner a mess, having adapted to the overkill steering inputs that were required to navigate previously.

I have been off track so much that I might actually be driving the legit historic layout.
