Looks like I might not make it tonight. Tried the game twice and after a few minutes of driving, the graphics go haywire. Triangles of black and various colours kaleidoscoping all over the screen. Bit of shock when it happens in VR. No problems with any other game so I can only assume the patch did something. (WebHUD is totally unaffected, it's just the game itself.)

I found the cause of my graphic issues. A few weeks back I tried using MSI Afterburner to squeeze a little more performance out of my aging rig. The result wasn't worth the minor instability it introduced into certain games, so I reset everything to default and that was that.

For reasons unknown, at some point between Tuesday (AMS 2 event) when everything was fine and tonight, MSI Afterburner has started applying a crazy overclock to my card every time I restart my PC. It wasn't overheating but the clock speed was ridiculously high. Since I haven't touched MSIA for weeks, I can only assume it was something to do with the latest Win10 update.

So yeah, crap ending to a series I've been wanting to run for the last two years. Two events driven out of five. :(
